Youth Recognition Award
Scouts Canada: (New Brunswick Council)

Criteria

  • Individual must have a minimum of five years of membership in Scouts Canada.

  • Youth must be an active member at the time of application
  • .
  • Youth must be committed and reliable.

  • Youth must have first aid training appropriate to his/her age level.
Earning the Chief Scout or Queen's Venturer award is not a pre-requisite for the Youth Recognition Award.

Recommendations for the award can be made by any registered member of Scouts Canada, through their Group Committee or Area, using the award application form.

Suggested method of earning the award may include outstanding community service, work as a youth leader with another section, or work at the area, provincial, or national level.

Recommendations for youth recognition award recipients are forwarded to New Brunswick Council for consideration. All applications will be reviewed by the N.B. Council Deputy Council Commissioner for Recognition, and the Council Recognition Committee.
