JOIN THE ADVENTURE: NATIONAL VOLUNTEER LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Interested in playing a lead role in growing our movement and bringing our Action Plan for Canadian Scouting to life?

The Chief Commissioner is pleased to invite applications for the following new national volunteer leadership positions:

1. Deputy National Commissioner - Volunteer Services: Responsible for all aspects of preparing, supporting, servicing and recognizing volunteers in Scouting roles.



2. Deputy National Commissioner - Technology: Responsible for all aspects of the definition and implementation of technology solutions.



3. Deputy National Commissioner - Marketing and Communications: Responsible for all aspects of defining and strengthening internal and external positioning and communications. (Refer to area 2 of the SCOUTING NOW Action Plan.)



4. Deputy National Commissioner - Program Services: Responsible for all aspects of program maintenance, development and delivery.



5. Deputy National Commissioner - Organizational Development: Responsible for leadership and direction of activities that develop and promote a flexible, lean and participatory organization. (Refer to area 3 of the SCOUTING NOW Action Plan.)



6. Deputy National Commissioner - Growth: Responsible for strategies, tools, aids and direction for setting and achieving the growth goals of the Scouting movement. (Refer to area 5 of the SCOUTING NOW Action Plan.)



7. Deputy National Commissioner - Development: Responsible for all aspects of external relationships (new and existing sponsors, partners, funders, etc.).



8. National Diversity Advisor: Responsible for developing and executing a national diversity framework and for liaising with the National Diversity Network.

The positions will be appointed annually by the Chief Commissioner and the Executive Commissioner/CEO.
